Demtec Solutions LLP in association with E3 Evaporation USA present an environmentally sustainable solution to waste water disposal.
Wastewater managers are always in search of ways to reduce their production water volumes and costs. Meeting current and anticipated regulatory standards can be expensive. Demtec E3 Solutions has developed one of the least expensive and most efficient regulatory compliant approaches to wastewater cleaning and disposal.
Demtec has the resources personnel and equipment to greatly reduce waste water stocks efficiently and cost effectively.
Until now, this approach has often relied on pushing large, uncontrolled volumes of different sized water droplets high or far into the air. This is how overspray occurs.
This evaporates some wastewater, but the forced water droplets frequently collide and combine resulting in bigger droplets that do not evaporate. In normal to high wind conditions, this can create contaminated overspray falling outside of the wastewater containment area. That is why most evaporation technology shuts down in windy conditions. Overspray can create regulatory issues resulting in a non-voluntary shutdown. It’s a costly problem. From placement of the technology to the energy costs of operating large motors and fans and operational interruption can be quite high.
Please note no atomized water falls to pond
Demtec E3 Solutions uses a different approach.
The Varimax Wastewater Evaporator utilizes a variable speed drive that adjusts droplet size based on real time weather conditions. This technology allows millions of tiny droplets to be dispersed into the air with reduced contact to others and adds up to more surface area for evaporation to occur more efficiently. The variable speed drive adjusts throw patterns based on wind speed, creating little or no overspray.
Evaporation rates improve when the subject water is as clean as possible. By utilizing our aeration and microbial solutions in conjunction with our Varimax Evaporators, we can further maximize the wastewater removal.
The variable speed feature adjusts droplet sizes based on wind speed virtually eliminating overspray. Better still, this feature keeps the system running despite weather conditions. This feature also allows you to evaporate from multiple locations on the pond’s surface, maximizing evaporation.
By atomizing water at multiple locations over the containment area we optimize the environmental factors leading to evaporation: air volume, solar energy, humidity, wind speed and direction. This provides for maximum evaporation potential.
With a wind rate of only three miles per hour, a 50-micron water droplet can drift more than 80 feet from the evaporator. A 400-micron water droplet will only drift four feet. The travel difference between 4 and 80 feet is critical to controlling overspray. The Varimax continually recognizes wind speed and adjusts droplet sizes to effectively evaporate wastewater and keep it in the containment area.
